The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is a agency of the Republic of India, responsible for the development of technology for use by the military, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defence Science Organisation.
DRDO has a network of 52 laboratories which are deeply engaged in developing defence technologies covering various fields, like aeronautics, armaments, electronic and computer sciences, human resource development, life sciences, materials, missiles, combat vehicles development and naval research and development.

RAC, DRDO invites applications for following Scientist posts in DRDO :

Scientist H : 01 post, Pay Band : PB-4 Rs. 67000-79000/- & Grade Pay nil, Age : 54 years
Scientist E : 10 posts, Pay Scale : PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000/- & Grade Pay 8700/-, Age : 45 year
Scientist D : 01 post, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- & Grade Pay 7600/-, Age : 45 years
Scientist C : 01 post, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- & Grade Pay 6600/-, Age : 35 years

Qualification :
At least first class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or first class Master's Degree in Science in the relevant subject from a recognised university or equivalent with Experience / specialisation as mentioned against each item.
At least 15 years of relevant experience for Scientist 'H' , 10 years experience for Scientist ‘E’, 7 years for Scientist 'D' and 3 years for Scientist 'C'.

Desirable : M.Tech/ Ph.D. in the relevant subject/specialisation. (b) Knowledge of Chinese, French, Russian, German or Japanese foreign language. (c) Candidate having Master of Tech / Doctorate degrees in relevant areas of specialization will be preferred.
