Central University of Bihar (CUB) has been founded by Govt. of India by the Act of Parliament: The Central University of Bihar seeks to educate and develop human resources for the development of the country, establish linkages with industries for the promotion of science and technology, and pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and well being of the people, their intellectual, academic and cultural development.

Due to non-allocation of land for establishing the campus, the University is currently operating from its Camp Office at BIT Campus, P.O. - B. V. College, Patna[
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for faculty positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor on contract basis on
consolidated emoluments in following areas :
Bioinformatics/ Counselling Psychology/ Communication & Media Studies
