Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) Syllabus
Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission
HPAS Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination-2010
It is for the information of all concerned that a new system for conducting HPAS Combined Competitive (Preliminary) examination-2010 has been introduced from this year. There will be 02 papers for HPAS (Preliminary) Examination, one is General Studies and another is of General Aptitude Test. Both the papers will be of 200 marks each containing 100 questions of multiple choice objective type and time duration will be of 02 hours. The syllabus has been adopted as per UPSC pattern and also includes questions on Himachal Pradesh and is given as under:-
