Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT Pune) MTech Admission
The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (previously the Institute of Armament Technology) is a Deemed University in Girinagar, Pune, India. It began as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952, before moving to its current location in 1967.
It is accredited by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and in the year 2000, the Institute acquired the status of a Deemed University.
The Institute runs eight post graduate courses in Modeling and Simulation, Laser and Electro-optics, Chemical Technology, (High Energy Materials), Aerospace Engineering, Air Armament Engineering, Combat Vehicles, and many more short courses. A few of the courses are open for civilian students also.

How To Apply:
Duly filled applications should be accompanied by prescribed registration fee of Rs. 200/-(Rs. 100/- for SC/ST candidates) by means of DD drawn in favour of “Vice Chancellor, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, PUNE – 25” payable at State Bank of India, Girinagar Branch(Code 02155), PUNE – 411 025. The application form with necessary enclosures should reach to the Registrar, DIAT, Girinagar, PUNE-411025 by 30 Apr 09. Separate application must be sent for each programme.
