Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad
Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) are a group of four institutes of higher education in India, focused on information technology. They are established by the central government, centrally funded, and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Admissions into undergraduate programmes in IIITs are through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
As per the Budget 2011, twenty more IIIT's under the Public-Private partnership (PPP) model, are to be launched soon for every major state of India. Nasscom recently submitted a detailed project report to the Government of India on the establishment of new IIITs.
Each of the IIITs has been proposed to be set up as a fully autonomous institution, through the PPP model. The partners setting up IIITs will be the ministry of human resource development, the governments of respective states where each IIIT will be established and industry members. The report suggests that private organisations should play an equal or slightly greater role in bringing investment for the new IIITs.
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for following Faculty Positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in following disciplines and areas :
Information Technology - Algorithms, Operating Systems & Compiler Design, Networking, Discrete Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Real-Time Systems, Simulation & Modeling, Computer Architecture & System Software.
Electronics – Digital Design, Instrumentation & Control, Device & Circuit Modeling, Mixed Signal VLSI Design, RF (Circuit & VLSI) Design & MEMS.
Management & Cyber Laws – Finance, Operations, General Management (IT), Cyber Laws, Security.

Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions) : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout, In addition, for
Professor : 09 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.
Associate Professor : 07 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor : 3 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience.
Lecturer : Fresh Ph.D’s in concerned subject without teaching experience. Deserving candidate pursuing Ph.D. and having outstanding academic records from reputed Institute, may also be considered and on being selected will get an opportunity to complete their Ph.D. within 3 years from the date of appointment along with a yearly performance appraisal. Thereafter they can be considered for the post of Assistant Professor if found suitable
Research Scholars : M.Tech. / MBA / MS in Cyber Laws or Equivalent
