Bihar is a state in eastern India. It is the 12th largest state in terms of geographical size at 38,202 sq mi (94,163 km²) and 3rd largest by population. Close to 85% of the population lives in villages. Almost 58% of Biharis are below the age of 25, which is the highest proportion in India.
Bihar lies mid-way between West Bengal in the east and Uttar Pradesh in the west. It is bounded by the country of Nepal to the north and by Jharkhand to the south. The Bihar plain is divided into two parts by the river Ganges which flows through the middle from west to east.
Applications in the prescribed application forms are invited by Indian Citizens for the posts of General Physician under Health Dept., Bihar :
General Physician : 1510 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : MBBS, Age : 37 years as on 01/10/2011. Relaxation in age as per rules.
Application fee : Rs.350/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ST of Bihar) to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India through a payment challan.
