Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Rai Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a training and education institute that gives technical and management training to the petroleum industry.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Government of India set up the institute at Jais, Rae Bareli district, Uttar Pradesh through an Act of Parliament. RGIPT has been accorded "Institute of National Importance” along the lines of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad(ISM). With the status of a Deemed University, the institute awards degrees in its own right.
Applications are invited for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and
Professor in the following fields :
Engineering, Technology and Sciences: Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Non-Conventional Energy Sources and Chemistry.
Business Management: Business Strategy, Finance & Accounting, HR, Law, Economics and
Business Communications.
