SAMEER was set up as an autonomous R & D laboratory at Mumbai under the then Department of Electronics, Government of India with a broad mandate to undertake R & D work in the areas of Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH (TIFR), Mumbai. SAMEER, Mumbai was setup in 1984.
SAMEER is looking for young aynamic and dynamic professionals in various disciplines for following posts :
Scientist-C : 17 posts (UR-9, SC-3, ST-1, OBC-4) in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Atmospheric Science/ RF & Microwave/ Photonics, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600/-
Scientist-B : 22 posts (UR-9, SC-3, ST-1, OBC-4) in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computer/ RF & Microwave/ Photonics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Radiological Physics/ Chemistry/ Atmospheric Science, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-
