The Delhi Metro is a rapid transit system serving Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida in the National Capital Region of India. The network consists of six lines with a total length of 189.63 kilometres (117.83 mi) with 142 stations of which 35 are underground. It has a combination of elevated, at-grade and underground lines and uses both broad gauge and standard gauge rolling stock.

Delhi Metro is being built and operated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC). As of November 2010, DMRC operates around 2,700 trips daily between 6:00 and 23:00 running with an interval of 2.5 minutes between trains at peak frequency.

Selection of 20 Executive Trainees (Civil/ Electrical/ Signal and Telecom/ /Architect) FOR Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC)

Applications are invited from dynamic and result oriented Engineers (Civil, Electrical, and Electronics), having a minimum of 70% marks in B.Tech/ B.E examination (in respective disciplines) and Architects having a minimum of 60% marks in B.Arch, from AICTE recognized Institutes/Universities, for recruitment for 20 Posts in Delhi Metro Rail Corporation as :

Executive Trainee : 20 posts (Civil : 07, Electrical : 06, Signal/ Telecom : 06, Architect : 01), Age : 21-28 years as on 01/01/2011. Relaxation as per rules.,

Qualification : A minimum of 70% marks in B.Tech/B.E. Examination (Civil, Electrical and Electronics) and a minimum of 60% marks in B.Arch, from AICTE recognized Institutes/ Universities.,

Stipend : Rs.25000/- per month, On successful completion of the course, the trainees will be inducted as Assistant Manager in DMRC in IDA pay scale Rs.20600-46500/-.
